Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker
My wife and I first purchased a Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker a couple summers ago looking for an alternative to the commercial fare and the old-fashioned hand crank or motorized 2-bucket systems.
Now it is as simple as keeping the mixing bowl in the freezer, and available for fresh ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sorbet at a moments notice. Most recipes can be prepped in a few minutes, and the finished product can be enjoyed 15-30 minutes later.
