From a knife perspective, their new Nautilus has it all. In comparison to a Leatherman, the original multi-tool, it doesn't quite stand up to same comfort with the screw bits.

However, the flip-out L.E.D. lighting system just begs for bonus points, and we gave in. Buy it for the blades, the extras are just a bonus.

My wife and I first purchased a Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker a couple summers ago looking for an alternative to the commercial fare and the old-fashioned hand crank or motorized 2-bucket systems.

Now it is as simple as keeping the mixing bowl in the freezer, and available for fresh ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sorbet at a moments notice. Most recipes can be prepped in a few minutes, and the finished product can be enjoyed 15-30 minutes later.
